My Story
"With a love of Camping & Caravanning at an early age, combined with a passion for VW Transporters, meant it was only a matter of time before my first Camper conversion was born, a hobby that has since grown into a profession.
Based in Bracebridge Heath, Lincoln, we source low mileage VW Transporters and Ford Transit Customs, mostly with FSH before turning them into high quality Campervans, ready for outdoor loving people....

Although a relatively young company in terms of vehicle conversions, my own experiences of all things camping related, goes back many years, and as such has given me a good insight into what I personally feel works in terms of layout & equipment.
Take a look below to find out more!
Vehicles
Finding the right donor vehicle to begin with, is in my opinion the most important part of any conversion, I tend to source the VW Transporter & the Ford Transit Custom, both of which make excellent Campervans, with both offering good reliability, equipment levels, and car like driving.
Seating
When it comes to the rear seating/bed arrangement there are numerous styles & manufactures available, with a budget to suit most pockets, that said I tend to favor Rib seats in my conversions, and although expensive, they are fully crash tested, whilst offering some unique features.
Elevating Roofs
All our roofs are supplied by Austops, as I feel that they offer the best overall roofs for the money, they also look great, with there low profile, and have a great customer service along with a 5yr warranty for full peace of mind.

Various Build Stages
Before any conversion takes place, the vehicle interior, is fully stripped of all panels, flooring etc, in order to fully clean the metalwork prior to insulating.

Panels cutout prior to windows

Windows bonded in place.

Butyl sheets are then applied to the metal panels to help deaden the tinny sound by adding weight to the panels.

Metalwork carpet lined

8mm close cell foam is then applied over the dead mat to achieve the first layer of insulation & soundproofing.

Carpeted plywood panels in place, & furniture being installed.

Main wiring coming in from vehicle battery

Any wiring that needs to be routed behind any panels, will then go in, before adding the recycled plastic bottle insulation.

Here we see the heavy duty box section bracket for the Rib bed fixings

Here we see the plywood packers that sit between the floors ribs, these are bonded into place allowing the plywood floor to be screwed to the packers, this avoids the need to screw through the vehicles floor.

Diesel heater installation

Insulation & soundproofing is then added before the plywood floor is fitted.
